The Interactive Videos Highlight the Innovation and Dynamism of MoCo Companies
Rockville, MD – June 1, 2017 – The Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation (MCEDC), announces today that it has continued to build momentum with its interactive video series, launched last month. This new initiative has been a smash success in the weeks since its initial launch, particularly in giving viewers an ‘insider’s look’ into the county’s business scene. Average views for videos posted to date total more than 3,500.
The second installment of videos features personal conversations between MCEDC CEO, David Petr, and leading area business owners, allowing them to tell the story of their businesses, and why they love being based in MoCo, in their own words. The series falls under MCEDC’s over-arching theme of ‘Think MoCo,’ part of its larger “The Future Starts Here” campaign.
The second video series features the following companies:
- THINK IT AND CYBERSECURITY – E-MANAGEMENT, A SILVER SPRING-BASED, AWARD-WINNING COMPANY THAT PROVIDES A WEALTH OF ENTERPRISE IT AND CYBERSECURITY SERVICES TO CLIENTS ACROSS INDUSTRIES. DUBBED ‘A TECH COMPANY WITH A SOUL’ BY A GARTNER ANALYST,
e-Management was started by iCEO, Ola Sage, in her townhouse, growing the business into a multi-faceted enterprise. Now comprising several offerings, including CyberRx to help small and medium-sized companies be safer online, e-Management has continued to expand its reach and expertise, while also promoting a culture that gives back to the larger community. Additionally, e-Management has proud MoCo roots, with more than 70% of its employees living and working in Maryland, with the majority in the county itself.
- THINK EFFICIENCY – THE DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES (DPS), HEADQUARTERED IN ROCKVILLE, MD, PLAYS A CENTRAL ROLE IN ESTABLISHING AND GROWING LOCAL BUSINESSES.
A one-stop shop which centralizes steps and processes associated with filing and receiving a residential or commercial permit, DPS also offers a suite of e-services to further streamline the permitting process and saves people time and money, while being environmentally-friendly. DPS’ fast-track service allows for a quick turnaround for an even faster and more efficient experience.
